The Garden of Earthly Delights

Community Garden in Hackney Central

Volunteering sessions currently take place in a relaxed way on weekend afternoons, everyone is welcome. No need to book, just come and join in! Bring sturdy footwear, waterproofs and snacks to share.

WOODWORKING SESSIONS

We regularly facilitate free wood working sessions for beginners and intermediates. We jointly build planters, garden furniture & structures as well as your confidence in using hand and power tools at the same time. Additionally, we open our outdoor workshop every Wednesday 12-4pm, where you can either volunteer with us or work on your own project with a little help from our tools, workspace & scrap timber.

Please follow Woodshop of Recycled Delights on Instagram and our Events Page for more infos & upcoming workshops.

SATURDAY 1-4pm: GARDENING SESSIONS

On Saturdays, we are focussing on growing tasks and maintaining the garden beds. If you are a growing enthusiast or just curious, this is for you! You don’t need to have any growing experience, this will come with these volunteering sessions. As our sessions can get very busy in the growing season, we also always look for people with some level of horticulture knowledge. We are keen to offer a ‘buddy up’ solution where we pair up those with less experience with more knowledgable people when working on a task.

Please note: Inductions for new volunteers are every last Saturday of the month at 12.30pm. And please do check our Instagram for updates on timings and further details.
