We are a community garden & educational grassroots project aiming to support our community’s health & well-being through:
- talks, skill shares & workshops on food growing, permaculture, climate justice, woodworking, arts & crafts
- volunteering & eco therapy opportunities
- providing a safe space for group meetings & community events
- partnerships with other local groups and grassroots organisations
Our vision is to turn this previously unused space into a vibrant, inclusive place where we respect wildlife and the people around us – where we grow edible, medicinal and wild plants, where we build garden structures with reclaimed material, and where we support locals in their endeavours to make our communities more inclusive and advocate for social, environmental & climate justice. Please read more about our core values in our manifesto (s. below).
We invite you all to be an active part of making this vision reality!
EVERYONE WELCOME!
NEWS! Crowdfunder!

☔️ A covered workshop area for WORD to protect tools, timber and participants from the rain
🚽 an accessible compost loo for the GED, to replace our basic bucket toilet
We have until 25. April to raise £10,000 for this work. It’s going to take a big group effort!
